SUNDAYS @ 10:00 AM

Before COVID-19

Sunday mornings at Grace United are relational and full of hope.

Worship is led by a really talented band that wants to help you encounter God every week.

We have fun. We go deep. We draw close to God through Jesus Christ.

After 90 minutes, we end. You can join us for snacks afterward or head into the new week refreshed.

On Fridays and Saturdays, homes are open for you to get to know one another and forge lasting friendships, share a meal, and grow in your faith. We value being a community of grace where each person can be open and supported as we grow our faith in Jesus together.

We also seek to participate in what God is doing in our area and beyond. We support nonprofit organizations in Northampton including Welcome Home Northampton Refugee Resettlement program, Service Net, and Safe Passage. Some of our members run in the Hot Chocolate Run in Northampton. We send boxes to impoverished children with Operation Christmas Child, support orphan care and education in Ghana, and evangelistic missions in Iran and Turkey.

Steve Behlke is the pastor of Grace United. He and Polly have three grown children.

A pastor for 20+ years, Steve has an earned Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Seminary and a Masters of Divinity from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary.

His passionate and engaging style brings out the deep truths of God and new life in an understandable and accessible way.

In his off-hours, Steve enjoys riding his Triumph motorcycle through the winding backroads of beautiful New England.

Grace United's elders, along with our pastor, are the primary leaders of our church.

These are godly men, along with their wives, who care deeply about the truth, and for each of you.

Jay Ehle

Jay loves to support the community at Grace United. He’s a member of Under Grace, which oversees our FIT classes and Life Groups where people get to know God and each other on a deeper level. His free time is spent with his wife Tiffany and their four daughters. He also loves reading, mountain biking, walks with Tiffany, and taking his girls on hikes and to the park.

John Clark

John is a shepherd at heart, and he uses this gift as an elder and in other ministries at Grace United. He enjoys simple things and sharing everyday moments with his wife Luanne and his family, including church family. He loves to cook and eat good food, and he cooks a meal at each elders’ meeting for them to share. He especially loves the wind in his face and the feeling of freedom when he’s on two wheels.

Mike Laprade

Mike has a servant’s heart, and you can see it when he sets up on Sunday mornings, teaches in the children’s ministry, and helps the families of the church. He enjoys spending time with his wife Cheryl and their children and grand-children. He loves his cowboy boots and sappy movies on the Hallmark Channel.

Tom Rosazza

Tom has a passion for worship and intimacy with Christ. Tom's gifts and love for music are a big part of the worship ministy at Grace United. Most Sundays you can find him on the guitar or the keyboard serving with the worship team, where his wife Wendy also serves. In his free time, he enjoys playing music and spending time with his grandkids.
